Job Description
Join our team as a Forklift Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will be responsible for efficiently operating stand-up forklifts to manage inbound and outbound shipments, load and unload trucks, and ensure that products are stored correctly. Your attention to detail is essential as you will be dealing with FDA-regulated products, with a focus on quality over quantity. You will work a rotating shift, either during the day or night, with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Pick full pallets and store products accurately.
- Ensure adherence to GMP/SOPs and identify any errors or deviations.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
- Attention to detail and adherence to FDA regulations.
- Ability to identify errors and ensure compliance with GMP/SOPs.
- Basic math skills and ability to use RF scanners.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP or inventory management systems.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Good computer skills and a stable work history.
- Experience with electric pallet jacks and reach trucks.

Work Environment
Work in a large 500,000 square foot warehouse with 40 employees. The facility is semi-climate controlled, featuring air conditioning in the summer but no heat in the winter to maintain product temperature requirements. As a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, the site is equipped for roasting beans and producing chocolate liquor, powders, and cocoa butter.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
