Allegheny Bradford Corporation is hiring a Document Control Coordinator to support and strengthen our Quality Management System. This critical role ensures that the documentation and training systems across all business units remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Quality to manage controlled documents, training records, and quality logs, while also supporting internal audits and regulatory compliance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving documentation systems that are vital to our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of controlled documents and training records using internal software systems.
- Coordinate document reviews, revisions, distributions, and training assignments.
- Maintain and scan Material Test Reports (MTRs), Hydro and Passivation Logs, and incoming inspection records.
- Support the pre-validation process by collecting and preparing documentation for final turnover packages.
- Create and maintain Employee Development Plans (EDPs) and related reports.
- Conduct internal audits and assist during external audits to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with all departments on quality procedures, plans, and documentation.
- Identify nonconformance areas and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and quality initiatives.
- Assist with document retention activities including scanning, logging, and shredding.
- Ensure alignment with company goals and the Quality Management System (QMS).
What You Bring
- High School Diploma required; four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with QMS standards and continuous improvement tools.
- ASQ certifications (CQIA, CQI, etc.) preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Microsoft Dynamic AX and database tools.
- Experience with quality control methods and the ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable interfacing with all departments.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Extended hours or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
