Resurrected Life Children’s Academy is seeking a full-time Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our mission of providing a comprehensive child development program designed to give children a head start in life, empowering parents, and strengthening families. Responsibilities:

• Implement educational programming within the program philosophy and under all RLCA Performance Standards, Pennsylvania Learning Standards for early childhood accreditation, and licensing requirements to support the developmental needs of each child.
• Ability to be confidential with staff, students, and parents
• Commitment to work with low-income families/children
• Plan and maintain an integrated classroom environment and materials in response to the enrolled children and ensure organization, cleanliness, and safety in all classrooms
• Analyze observations and assessments to plan for each child
• Attend staff development activities

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related field.
• At least two years of experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• Ability to recognize and appreciate diversity
• Ability to carry a minimum of 50 lbs. to assist children as needed and to move equipment and materials.
• Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and learn web-based systems
• Complete screenings, observations, assessments, and education plans as scheduled and maintain up-to-date documentation in children’s files
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19 - $21 per hour
