First Episode Psychosis Program Supervisor

Job Summary:The First Episode Psychosis Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) team that provides evidence-based treatment and support to young people experiencing their first episode of psychosis in Lehigh and Bucks Counties. The team consists of Recovery Oriented Counselors, Case Managers, Supported Education and Employment Specialists, and Certified Peer Specialists. The Supervisor plays a critical role in coordinating services, ensuring program fidelity, and supporting team members to deliver high-quality care. This position involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the CSC team members.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, case reviews, and clinical discussions.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Program Oversight:
- Ensure adherence to the principles and goals of the CSC model.
- Monitor program fidelity and implement any necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with the Program Director or Clinical Director to meet program objectives.
Clinical Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision to Recovery Oriented Counselors, Case Managers, Supported Education and Employment Specialists, and Certified Peer Specialists.
- Review and evaluate clinical assessments, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Support staff in delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
Case Management Oversight:
- Provide guidance in the coordination of care for clients, including connecting them to appropriate services, agencies, and resources.
- Oversee the development and review of individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based practices.
Staff Development:
- Identify training and professional development needs for team members.
- Collaborate with training resources to provide ongoing education and skill development opportunities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate client outcomes, ensuring that services are effective and client-centered.
- Implement data collection and reporting procedures to assess program effectiveness.
- Make data-driven decisions to enhance program performance.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, mental health agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote the program within Lehigh and Bucks Counties to increase awareness and referrals.
- Routinely attend community meetings held by the counties, and other stakeholders.
- Strategically engage school districts (school counselors, social workers, and other support staff) on a monthly basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human services or a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
- Eligibility for state licensure or certification
- 2 or more years of clinical experience, with experience in providing services to individuals with first-episode psychosis
- 1 or more years of supervisory or leadership experience in a mental health setting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience engaging and working in the Lehigh Valley area
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for first-episode psychosis and familiarity with Coordinated Specialty Care models
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to promoting recovery and person-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary of $62,000 - $64,000
- Varied work schedule, evening and weekends may be required based on client needs
