Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby

Location: Honesdale, Pennsylvania

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $49/hr W2

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care in a Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby unit. The RN will support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work across both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and promptly report significant changes
• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures
• Provide newborn care and educate mothers and families on postpartum and infant care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and urgent patient care needs
• Support patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• Fetal Monitoring Certification (Advanced or Intermediate accepted) required
• STABLE Certification required

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby nursing experience required
• Ability to work in both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
