Position Summary

The Cashier is the first and last point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders, and helping maintain a friendly, clean, and efficient front-of-house environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, personable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier and lobby area.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Package takeout orders and verify accuracy before handing them to customers.
• Assist with restocking front-of-house items, such as utensils, napkins, and beverages.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
• Provide support to the team as needed during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfort with handling cash and operating a POS system (training provided).
• Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs when needed.
