We are seeking an outgoing, passionate individual who loves to sell. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will spearhead our sales efforts and cultivate lasting relationships with customers. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with clients in person, educating them about our services, and guiding them to make the best decisions. The BDM will report weekly and provide ongoing updates for new business opportunities and existing business, as well as market research to identify growth opportunities. Your success will be based upon generating new business opportunities through consistent daily in-person visits to customers and developing long-lasting business relationships.
- Generate leads and drive sales through proactive outreach efforts, mainly in-person cold calls (visits) and networking events.
- Travel daily, with most of the time spent on in-person sales calls.
- Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to maximize long-term value and drive business growth.
- Identify key contacts at potential client companies to establish and foster relationships.
- Share weekly sales updates with ownership and corporate partners to assess progress, address risks, and align on strategy
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our services.
- Understand the problems and challenges of clients and address their needs.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to retain clients, uncover new business opportunities, and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide consistently high-quality service to reinforce a strong, positive brand reputation
- Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Set revenue targets and develop and execute a strategy to meet them.
- Manage the entire sales cycle using CRM tools
- Create daily sales routes
- Build, maintain, and service a ‘top 25 client’ list
- Proven track record of success in sales, with experience in in-person cold call sales.
- Must be comfortable making cold calls and dealing with customers face-to-face, while demonstrating good listening skills, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with customers.
- Results-driven attitude and a self-starter.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Uncompromising honesty and integrity, along with a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
- Devotion to high-quality customer service.

- 3+ years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
- General Construction Experience (Preferred)
- Plumbing/HVAC/Restoration Experience (Preferred)
- Existing relationships with insurance agencies, plumbing, or construction trades will set you apart from other candidates.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally (required).
- Clean criminal history and driving record. Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check.

Base Salary: $60,000-$65,000
Commission: 3% (uncapped)
