Actively seeking Shop Mechanics to perform a variety of difficult, skilled and technical work related to the repairs and maintenance on a variety of heavy trucks, light trucks, trailers and hand and power equipment. You will also have responsibility for general shop and building maintenance.

Day and Night shift positions available. Workdays are Monday-Friday with Saturday if necessary.

You will:

• Model and promote safe working practices. Ensure that safety is never compromised.
• Diagnose and repair fuel systems, electrical systems and hydraulic systems.
• Perform PM inspection and service work for the on-road fleet and construction equipment.
• Produce timely, detailed service reports and repair logs.
• Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures. Ensure the maintenance shop is a clean, safe and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for required education
• 2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining construction equipment and heavy trucks preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have your own general mechanic’s tool set capable of supporting a heavy equipment fleet
• Welding experience a plus
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check

Working Conditions:

Perform very heavy work - exert in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to life, carry and move objects. Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and the ability to climb, kneel, stand, walk crouch, stoop, reach, pull and push. You will work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Work environments include exposure to noise, dust, gasses, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
