Express is partnering with a manufacturing company in Greensburg to bring an experienced CNC professional onto the production team. If you know your way around CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers, this role puts your skills to work on real parts, real deadlines, and real impact.

A day in the shop

You clock in, review the traveler, and pull up the blueprint for the next job. You set up and dial in the machine, load material, and verify your offsets. As the cycle runs, you monitor spindle load and coolant flow, measure the first‑off with calipers and micrometers, and fine‑tune to hit spec. You keep notes, troubleshoot minor issues, perform routine maintenance, and maintain a safe, organized workcell. Then it’s on to the next part—smooth, accurate, on time.

What you’ll do

• Operate, set up, and adjust CNC machinery per production requirements
• Load materials and closely monitor machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specs
• Inspect parts with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Make necessary adjustments to meet quality and dimensional standards
• Troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine machine maintenance
• Keep the work area clean and safe; perform other related tasks as assigned

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
• Reliable, consistent attendance
• Hands‑on CNC machining experience
• Background with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers preferred
• Ability to read prints and technical drawings
• Skill using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
• CNC setup, programming, or G‑code familiarity is a plus
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, and perform shop tasks
