Remote Referral Specialist (Master's Degree or RN)

Responsibilities:

Roxbury Treatment Center is currently hiring Remote Referral Specialists (Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem) to work in our admissions department. Schedule flexibility is offered. Successful candidate will begin employment onsite at the Shippensburg, PA facility for onboarding and training before working remotely.

Job Role/Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility’s database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff.

Qualifications:

Education : Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or any other related Human Services field required OR RN with Behavioral Healthcare/Substance Use experience.

License : License is not required unless candidate is a nurse, then active nursing license in the State of Pennsylvania is required.

Experience : 1-2 years in the area of substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care is preferred.
