Method Co. is seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across one of our distinctive hospitality concepts. This role is responsible for shaping the culinary identity, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.

We are looking for a leader who balances culinary artistry with disciplined execution — someone who understands both the guest experience and the business behind it.

Position Summary

The Executive Chef oversees all kitchen operations, including food quality, team leadership, financial performance, and brand standards. This individual will collaborate closely with General Managers and corporate leadership to ensure alignment with Method Co.’s hospitality philosophy and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership

  • Develop and execute seasonal, high-quality menus aligned with the brand vision

  • Ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in all food offerings

  • Maintain the highest standards for presentation, flavor, and execution

Team Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top culinary talent

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and growth

  • Lead training initiatives and performance management processes

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all kitchen systems, prep, and service standards

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

  • Drive efficiency while upholding quality and guest experience

Financial Management

  • Manage food and labor costs to meet budget targets

  • Analyze P&L performance and implement cost controls

  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships

Collaboration

  • Partner with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences

  • Work cross-functionally with corporate teams on brand initiatives and openings

  • Support new concept development and growth initiatives as needed

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience

  • Background in upscale, high-volume restaurant or boutique hospitality environments

  • Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience

  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams

  • Passion for hospitality, design-driven concepts, and guest experience
