Purpose: The Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance is responsible for the support of our corporate annual budget and monthly forecasting process and reporting. This role will interact with all functional areas of the business, and with senior leadership, on a regular basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in the creation of the detailed annual budget and will maintain our rolling forecast. Essential Functions (5-7): - Enter detailed budget, forecast and reforecast details in our financial planning system, and update as needed
- Maintain a close partnership with Accounting regarding actual results and future adjustments to our forecast
- Update, analyze and report out KPI's and forecast future KPI metrics, and maintain certain KPI databases
- Develop our eCommerce P&L and freight cost budgets and reforecast as needed
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors materials, investor updates, earnings conference call materials and other activities in support of investor relations.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with the development of analytical tools and reports
- Participate in special project teams as needed.
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required or preferred): Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Analytics preferred. Licenses / Certifications / Training: N/A Years of Related Experience: 3-5 years business experience, including experience in budgeting and reporting. Consumer industry experience preferred. Travel Requirements: Minimal Travel Required (1 - 2 x per year) Other Requirements: Strong computer and PowerPoint skills, advanced Excel, Access and Data Warehouse skills. Ability to create/maintain large, complex spreadsheets/databases, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of MicroStrategy and Business Intelligence with emphasis on Power BI, and experience with Longview preferred, but not required.
