Senior Proposals Engineer - Hydro
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate, and timely proposals for control system projects, including reviewing customer specifications and drawings.
- Develop best‑value solutions that meet customer needs, reduce risk, and support project success.
- Present project costs, risks, and differentiators clearly and confidently to key decision‑makers.
- Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with the proposed scope of work.
- Partner with a global network of engineers and subject‑matter experts to ensure high‑quality proposal development.
- Apply foundational knowledge in engineering, automation, networking, and business to deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions.
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related STEM field
- Minimum 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years with a Master's degree, or 6 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience
- Experience with control systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA)
- Experience with writing proposals and developing cost estimates
- Experience in the hydroelectric, solar, battery storage (BESS), and/or wind industries
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred
