Schedule: Full-Time | 40-50 hours/week


Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Billing Manager to lead billing operations for a fast-paced organization within the construction/mechanical services industry. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing the full revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and maintaining compliance with GAAP and SOX Standards

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections
• Oversee Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Utilize QuickBooks and ServiceTitan to process transactions, reporting, and technician workload costing
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and SOX controls during reporting and audits
• Analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance customer experience
• Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and financial records
• Lead training on accounting practices, software systems, and data accuracy

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of billing, accounting, or revenue cycle management experience (preferred)
• Industry experience in Construction or Mechanical Contracting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of:
  
• • Debits & Credits
  • Double-entry bookkeeping
  • Journal entries & account reconciliation
• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar
• ServiceTitan experience preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for collections and payment resolutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Leadership or Management Experience Required
