Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Altoona, PA. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years‘ experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience with cardiac surgical instrumentation and sterile technique in the CVOR.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with facility policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with intraoperative imaging equipment and cardiac assist devices preferred.
• Advanced certifications related to surgical technology or perioperative practice preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 10:00 AM start.
• Work Pattern: 4x10.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
