CNC Programmer
VEKA, a national leader in the vinyl extrusion industry, is accepting applications for a CNC Programmer.
Job Description
Responsible for updating accurate geometry and providing CNC code
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Updating and maintaining CAD geometry
- Responsible for writing code for CNC equipment
- Communicating with machine operators, fine tuners & the design group
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- High knowledge in geometry and CAD system
- Excellent knowledge in CNC machining and programming
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities through excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Accountability, assertiveness, dependability, a team-oriented mindset, and responsiveness are all critical attributes that are essential for success in this role.
Bonus Skills:
- In depth knowledge of extrusion tool technology, AutoCAD and Espirit
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, CAD Tech School, or previous work experience required.
