Position: Long-Term Substitute ELA Teacher (April 2026 - June 2026)
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified English/Language Arts teacher to join our faculty.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid PA State Certification in English and Language Arts (or a current out-of-state
- Preferably have experience teaching in differentiated classrooms.
- Have an interest in teaching literature in a classical education curriculum.
- Demonstrate effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
- Show a proven ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
- Support and actively uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Prior high school teaching experience
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning
- A commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
- Knowledge of the strategies consistent with instructing students of different academic abilities
