Automobile Technician

As an Automobile Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues by inspecting engine, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacement and part lubrication to promote vehicle longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and educate customers on proper vehicle care and use.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts, and address issues such as leaks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience as an auto mechanic or automobile technician.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components.
• Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and handle heavy equipment.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and best practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship (preferred).
• Valid certification such as ASE (a plus).
• PA Inspection License (preferred).

Compensation

This is a full-time position requiring more than 40 hours per week. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
