Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician with experience in operating heavy equipment. This role involves using joystick skills to operate unique equipment and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Training on specific equipment will be provided, but prior operating experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment using joystick controls.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Learn to operate the GEF 530 KT Grant equipment.
• Adapt to varying start times, typically between 7am-3:30pm at the shop and 8am or 10am at the client site.
• Be comfortable working in outdoor, hot, and dirty environments.

Essential Skills

• Experience with excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of equipment operation and excavation techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with skid steers, backhoes, and front loaders.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
