Location: Malvern, PA (hybrid schedule- M/F – Remote, Tue/Wed/Thur- Onsite in Malvern)

Title: Sr. Payroll Specialist

Hourly rate: $35 to $43

Summary

Compiles and audits payroll data, reconciles errors, and maintains records. Assists in entering and preparing payroll. Answers payroll questions for managers. Maintains compliance with payroll regulations. May consult with both internal and external partners to resolve payroll issues.

Core Responsibilities

1. Audits and analyzes relevant data from various sources and loads data into the payroll system. Reconciles pay data for accuracy and provides recommendations for correction.

2. Manages and administers base pay and non-base pay components and reconciliations. Maintains compliance with payroll regulations. Ensures timely and accurate delivery to crew.

3. Researches, analyzes, and resolves complex payroll and compensation related issues, inquiries, and discrepancies. Troubleshoots and identifies trends in system reports. Recommends enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

4. Tests new requirements or enhancements of the payroll systems. Creates test cases and reports based on business knowledge. Ensures data accuracy and completeness.

5. Provides ongoing consultative support, guidance, and direction to management and peers based on knowledge of the payroll system functionality, calculation regulations, and complex payroll and benefits transactions.

6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Three years related work experience.

Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.

FPC, CPP, or other financial designation preferred but not required
