FULL-TIME GROUNDSKEEPER

Reports To: Golf Course & Grounds Superintendent

Location: Malvern, PA

Are you passionate about the outdoors and love the idea of contributing to a beautiful golf course environment? Chester Valley Golf Club, a family-oriented private country club in Malvern, PA, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Groundskeeper to join our team!

At Chester Valley Golf Club, we pride ourselves on creating a fun and friendly atmosphere for our members and staff. You will be part of a supportive team that helps create lasting memories through golf, recreation, and social events.

Your Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining golf course equipment, including mowers for greens, tees, rough, and fairways.
• Assisting with daily course setup, such as moving tee markers and changing cups.
• Performing essential tasks like aerating greens, raking leaves, trimming trees, and watering plants.
• Conducting pre-operation checks and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Safely hauling materials and refuse in a cart and trailer.
• Working both independently and as part of a team with a flexible and eager-to-learn attitude.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• The ability to safely operate carts and light motorized equipment.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and gasoline engine operations.
• The ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• A high level of physical fitness and comfort with continuous repetitive motions.
• An approachable disposition and a strong work ethic.
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, and occasionally with moving mechanical parts, fumes, and chemicals. You should be comfortable with a moderate to loud noise level.
