As a Junior Site/Civil Engineer, you will be required to provide engineering deliverables and technical support. The main duties and responsibilities as part of this position include:
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering scopes including earthworks, grading, roadworks, underground utilities, and stormwater management across diverse site development projects.
Collaborate with internal teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines, to ensure integrated and high-quality project outcomes.
Perform technical tasks related to site layout, drainage systems, utility coordination, and surface modeling.
Support the development of detailed design packages, including calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation based on design inputs, field data, and project requirements.
Participate in site investigations, surveys, and data collection to inform design decisions.
Assist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.
Contribute to quantity take-offs and bill of materials for civil projects.
Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking progress against schedules and budgets.
Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices relevant to civil engineering and site development.
Provide technical support to Senior Engineers and Designers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
A recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Understanding of inter-discipline requirements for the tasks at hand.
Familiarity with 3D modeling and 2D drafting, will train in 2D and 3D Bently applications
Understanding design concept for roads, earthworks, water management and drainage.
Problem solving attitude.
Ability to work in a team-environment.

Perform assignments related to your sector
Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
