Inventory Auditor – Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $20.00/hour (Overtime after 40 hours)
Travel: Daily travel required — up to a 3-hour driving radius from Greensburg, PA
Location Base: Must live within ~30 miles of Greensburg, PA (ZIP 15601)

A national inventory services company with 50+ years of experience is hiring an Inventory Auditor to lead and support inventory audits at gas stations and convenience stores. This is a field-based role requiring early mornings, extensive driving, and consistent regional travel.

Travel & Schedule Requirements (Very Important)

• Daily travel within a 3-hour driving radius of Greensburg, PA
• Regional coverage includes parts of Western PA and Western MD (including Johnstown, PA and Cumberland, MD)
• Must use your own reliable vehicle
• Must maintain valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and pass MVR check
• Paid commute time
• Mileage reimbursement
• Occasional overnight stays depending on division needs(2-3 a month)
• On-site start time is 6:00 AM sharp
• You must wake up early enough to drive to the assigned location and arrive ready to work by 6:00 AM
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday
• ~35–40 working hours in stores per week, plus additional travel time

This role requires someone who is comfortable driving long distances daily and maintaining early morning routines consistently.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in physical inventory audits
• Work alongside small audit teams (2–8 auditors)
• Count inventory using a 10-key machine
• Review results and deliver reports to store managers
• Identify and resolve discrepancies on-site
• Support team training and performance
• Complete basic administrative reporting

What You Bring

• Experience in inventory, auditing, retail, or field-based work
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Professional communication skills for client interaction
• Reliable transportation and commitment to daily travel

Compensation & Growth
