Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Carlisle, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm + weekend on call

Pay: $20–$27/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

This position involves a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, ensuring safe and well-maintained housing for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Service and repair appliances such as ranges and refrigerators.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy: patch and paint walls, replace fixtures, and complete flooring work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor upgrades as needed.
• Handle seasonal tasks such as snow removal and groundskeeping.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience (3+ years strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repair.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
