The company is seeking an individual to take full command of its paid growth engine across major channels (primarily Meta, Google, and YouTube), with the explicit goal of driving measurable EBITDA (profitability).The ideal candidate must be deeply obsessed with core performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV) and be capable of both defining the strategy and executing the work (account rebuilds, daily optimizations, and reporting). Responsibilities:Performance Marketing Ownership (Acquisition Core)
Strategy & Execution: Architect, execute, and own the full paid growth system, including account rebuilds and daily optimizations.
Channel Management: Directly manage and optimize Meta ads (primary), Google Shopping/Search/PMAX, and YouTube ads (prospecting + retargeting).
Retargeting: Develop and manage comprehensive retargeting campaigns across all relevant channels.
Platform Coordination: Manage Amazon PPC/DSP strategy (in partnership with the Amazon lead) and coordinate TikTok ads and affiliated TikTok Shop programs.
Affiliate/Influencer Management: Performance manage influencer and affiliate programs with a strict focus on being CAC-positive.
Financial Discipline & Reporting (Analytics)
Profitability Focus: Make decisions based on impact to EBITDA, LTV, and contribution margin, rejecting vanity metrics.
Reporting: Establish and maintain daily/weekly reporting discipline across all paid channels.
Dashboarding: Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards using tools like Sellerboard to track real profitability by campaign and channel.
Creative & Funnel Optimization
Creative Testing: Partner with the in-house creative team (video, studio, UGC) to stand up a high-cadence creative testing engine, identifying winning hooks and angles.
CRO & Site Performance: Collaborate on landing page optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate improvements.
Retention Collaboration: Partner with likely future Lifecycle/Growth Analyst to ensure acquisition efforts align with retention and subscription profitability goals (e.g., LTV modeling, optimizing first purchase experience).
Qualifications:
DTC Experience: 5+ years running DTC paid acquisition for 8-9 figure ecommerce brands.
Budget Management: Comfortable running six- to seven-figure annual ad budgets tied directly to profit.
Channel Expertise: Deep, proven experience with:
Meta ads (Must-have)
Google Shopping / Search / PMAX
YouTube ads
Retargeting across multiple platforms
Platform Proficiency: Strong experience with the Shopify platform.
Profitability Track Record: Proven track record lowering CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and scaling profitably.
Financial & Analytical Depth:
Understands LTV (Lifetime Value), payback windows, contribution margin, and how they roll up to EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization).
Able to build your own reporting and dashboards and make decisions based on profit, not vanity metrics.
Creative Testing: Real experience with creative testing (hooks, angles, iterations, UGC, short-form video).
Execution Focus: You execute; you do not just brief agencies and hope.
Bonus Qualifications
CPG experience.
Pet industry or health/wellness background.
Proven results on TikTok Shop or other social commerce platforms.
Experience working with strong in-house creative teams (video, studio, UGC).
Experience collaborating with lifecycle/retention teams (e.g., Klaviyo, Recharge, subscriptions).
