Job Details Title: Assistant Manager, Facilities & Security / Clery Compliance Officer Announce date: 02/10/2026 Apply by date: 02/23/2026 Application status: Accepting Applications Position type: Full-time Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year Working Hours Working hours for this position consist of a 7.5 hour period daily, exclusive of a 1/2 or 1 hour lunch. Specific work hours to be agreed upon by the supervisor and employee prior to the onset of employment. On-Call Emergency Response : Serves in an on-call capacity and responds to campus emergencies during and outside of normal business hours (24/7), including but not limited to security, custodial, and maintenance incidents and issues. Requires availability to respond by phone and, as situations dictate, physically report to campus during evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, or other nonstandard hours as the main point of contact. Summary Responsible for supervising the custodial staff, outside vendors, and the services required to support outside community groups approved to use College buildings/grounds. This individual assists with the management of the overall operations of the Physical Plant Department when required and as directed. First Year Critical Success Factors- Must complete the Stafford Clery Act Compliance Training Academy (or other substitute training in kind as determined appropriate by management) within first six (6) months of employment.

- Become familiar and understand how to operate Asset Essentials – cloud based software for asset management and maintenance
- Become familiar and understand process of scheduling and setup for events
- Become familiar and understand how to operate Bosch Camera system
- Plan, schedule, assign, supervise, train, inspect and evaluate the work of RACC and outsourced custodians.
- Act as back-up for the Director of Facilities and Security Services when required and as directed. Serve as the main point of contact for facilities and security during scheduled evening hours and weekends. Requires availability to respond by phone and, as situations dictate, report to campus during evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, or other nonstandard hours.
- Act as back-up for the Office Coordinator – Facilities and Security Services when required for coverage and as directed, performing those duties as assigned.
- Prioritize and assigns work tickets to maintenance personnel when required.
- Provide direction to maintenance personnel when required.
- Maintain time and material records and prepares reports as required.
- Supervise routine care, maintenance and minor repair of equipment, and perform minor repairs and adjustments throughout the College as required.
- Report difficult or more-involved maintenance and repair needs to the Director of Facilities.
- Observe and report hazardous conditions to the Director of Facilities and, when possible, corrects conditions.
- Assist the Director of Facilities in planning for community use activities and building rentals to ensure proper staffing and availability of needed equipment. Set up furniture and equipment for those activities.
- Assist in the inventory of movable furniture, equipment and custodial supplies within the College.
- 12. Initiate action and directs custodial staff in all efforts and procedures to protect and secure College property and equipment from fire, theft, vandalism and other abuse.
- Coordinate and supervises outsourced contractor for snow removal.
- Meet regularly with the Director of Facilities and other staff as necessary, to discuss College concerns for future facility needs and to receive directions.
- Serve as primary emergency contact for alarms, and monitors alarm systems.
- Responsible for following emergency protocols, including the use of security software and hardware during emergencies.
- Utilize the card access system software to grant, change, or rescind access as required.
- Input information and operate the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), or other software used for tracking and monitoring maintenance needs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Coordinate the institution’s Clery Act compliance program.
- In conjunction with the applicable offices, develop and implement Clery Act required policies, programs, and activities.
- Gather crime and disciplinary referral data from various internal and external sources, such as the Office of Student Conduct, local law enforcement agencies, and the state police.
- Work with the appropriate University Departments to identify and notify all Campus Security Authorities for the institution and maintain a list of them for each academic year.
- Provide, facilitate, and/or coordinate training for institutional “campus security authorities” and key institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements.
- Send annual requests for crime statistics to all Campus Security Authorities each year and ensure that data is compiled.
- Serve on for the Clery Act Management Committee and be responsible for applicable update to policies/procedures.
- Stay abreast of pending and final changes to the Clery Act and other laws or regulations affecting Clery Act provisions.
- Work with various institutional offices to ensure compliance with the implementation and disclosure requirements of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of custodial employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, bargaining agreements and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; motivating and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Required:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- At least five years of personnel supervisory experience within the last five years.
- At least five years of facilities work-related experience within the last five years.
- Must complete the Stafford Clery Act Compliance Training Academy (or other substitute training in kind as determined appropriate by management) within first six (6) months of employment.
- Bachelors in Business, Facilities Management or Engineering.
- Certificate in Facilities Maintenance and/or Security or other related areas.
- Experience with security.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Knowledge of heating systems.
- Knowledge of construction materials.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software. The individual in this position must have a proven record of computer usage and will be required to be proficient in learning and operating various software programs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required (criminal records/background check required)
- Knowledge of custodial, cleaning products/equipment.
- Knowledge of professional carpet, tile and other floor surface care.
- Proven ability to provide leadership and work with a variety of individuals professionally and in a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position to accomplish goals with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small groups.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
