Job Post Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Architect / Manager to support the Development Team in the planning, design, and construction of various project types. This role involves managing projects from concept through construction administration, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, and ensuring alignment with design intent, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience in construction administration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Support development projects across multiple sectors from concept design through construction administration under senior guidance

• Coordinate and manage third-party architectural scopes, ensuring deliverables align with project goals, timelines, and budgets

• Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality, and coordinate necessary revisions

• Handle day-to-day design coordination with construction teams, including RFIs, submittals, and resolving technical issues

• Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, parameters, and execution strategies

• Manage sustainable design coordination tasks, including documentation and certification processes

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and escalate concerns when required

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree and/or professional license preferred

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in design, documentation, and construction administration

• Knowledge of sustainable building practices; relevant certifications preferred

• Strong understanding of architectural design, structural systems, and MEP coordination

• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting construction documents

• Familiarity with building codes and accessibility standards, with the ability to apply them effectively

• Experience in construction administration processes such as RFIs, submittals, and field coordination

• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and cost implications

• Working knowledge of site planning and civil design principles preferred

• Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
