This is a client-facing role for KDG (hybrid / in office 2 days per week). As a Staff Accountant , you will perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for clients. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail and accuracy are vital qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

In this role, responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

● Maintain the chart of accounts.

● Follow accounting policies and procedures.

● Collect, monitor, and input A/P Bills, including Purchase Order conversion when necessary.

● Record expenses.

● Assist with inventory transactions, transfers and tracking.

● Convert Sales Orders to Invoices and/or input Invoices and issue to customers.

● Apply customer payments to Invoices.

● Make payments on Vendor Bills.

● Process Payroll, record journal entries.

● Analyze, track and process Sales Tax liability, reporting and payments.

● Input monthly, quarterly, annual journal entries.

● Record bank deposits and transactions, reconcile accounts monthly.

● Record credit card transactions, reconcile accounts monthly.

● Track and record fixed asset depreciation.

● Assist with monthly close and quarterly financial reviews.

● Liaison with vendors and customers on clients’ behalf.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

● Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in accounting

● High School Diploma is required.

● Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting is preferred.

● Proficient in a variety of accounting software applications, including Quickbooks Online and Zoho Books.

● Experience with multi-client responsibilities.

● Strong verbal and written communication

● Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

● Strong attention to detail

● Team player

● Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
