As the Facilities and Maintenance Technician, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility remains operational, safe, and organized. You will be responsible for the upkeep of advanced fabrication equipment and the general maintenance of the facility to support our high-performance production goals.
Requirements:Equipment & Machine Maintenance
- Perform Daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) reviews and scheduled preventative maintenance for all assigned fabrication equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair shop machinery, including bandsaws, tube cutters, resizing dies, metal benders, and CNC equipment.
- Provide input and ideas for continuous improvements regarding equipment, tools, or maintenance processes.
- Coordinate with Production or external vendors regarding the maintenance and security of manufacturing equipment and specialized tools.
Facility Operations & Safety
- Maintain the facility and grounds to 5S standards, ensuring a clean, on-brand, and professional work environment.
- Ensure the housekeeping and organization of all production areas, including the receiving dock and quality control spaces.
- Drive safety in all aspects of daily responsibilities and ensure compliance with company safety rules.
- Place purchase orders for maintenance supplies and repair components according to reorder guidelines.
Operational Support
- Execute facility-related tasks efficiently and accurately against time and quality standards.
- Support prototyping and new product launches by assisting with equipment setup and floor layout adjustments.

- Attend AWE Tuning events and provide on-site facility support as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Trade school or professional certifications in electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with complex machinery.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Working knowledge of CNC machines, metal benders, and various fabrication tools.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic system issues.
- Strong attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules independently.
- Team-oriented mindset with clear verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on a manufacturing floor.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and reach overhead for facility repairs.
- Manual dexterity required for operating hand tools and handling machinery parts.

- Maintaining a well-organized facility and ensuring minimal downtime for production equipment.
- Consistency in meeting safety and maintenance metrics as assessed by the Supervisor.
