Job Title: Java Fullstack Developer (Remote – EST/CST Preferred)
Employment Type: W2 Only – U.S. Citizens Only
Location: Remote (Preference for EST/CST time zones)
Industry: Custom Application Development / Consulting
Salary: $60- $65 per hour
Requirements: 5+ years of Java experience, Healthcare insurance exp a plus
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a skilled Java Fullstack Developer to join a fast-paced project team delivering enterprise-grade applications across web and mobile platforms. This is a remote W2-only role open to U.S. citizens, with preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable fullstack applications
- Modernize and maintain legacy systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code quality improvements
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
- Strong experience with Java EE, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server and/or Spring Boot
- Experience working with relational databases (preferably DB2 / SQL)
- Familiarity with build and deployment tools (e.g., Gradle, Docker, OpenShift)
- Front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Exposure to Open Liberty, MicroProfile, or similar open-source libraries
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
