ELECTRO MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECH 3rd SHIFT
job summary:
Great Manufacturing client is seeking a Electro-Mechanical Technican to join their team on 3rd shift. This is a hands-on role supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience specifically within a manufacturing environment, strong 480V and 3-phase motor troubleshooting skills, and mechanical aptitude with hydraulics experience.

responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and setup of automated machinery, equipment, and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in automated systems
- Troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Maintain basic familiarity with control systems and automation equipment
- Support other maintenance duties, electrical or mechanical, as needed
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment; 3-5 years preferred
- strong electrical skill set with ability to troubleshoot 480V and 3-phase motors
- Mechanical aptitude with hydraulics experience required
- Proficient with a multimeter and electrical diagnostics
- Familiarity with PLCs and control systems a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technology certification preferred
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to lift 70 lbs, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods
