Sales representative
Job Title: Customer Service Administrative AssistantJob Description
The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers from their initial online inquiries or phone calls through to the point of sale, playing a crucial role in the sales process.
Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries regarding new and pre-owned vehicle inventory via telephone and Internet daily.

Answer customer emails and promptly respond to incoming sales calls and inquiries.

Determine vehicle needs by asking questions and listening to customer preferences.

Recommend alternate vehicle choices when necessary.

Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories, and recommend them to customers.

Make follow-up calls to customers according to a predetermined work plan.

Maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction.

Implement and maintain a prospect development system consistently.

Set appointments with prospects to visit the showroom or meet at a location of their choice.

Meet with prospects during appointments, review vehicle choices and features, and finalize sales and paperwork with customers and dealership staff.

Establish, implement, and maintain personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards.

Occasionally move vehicles from the lot to the front of the store for test drives and accompany customers on test drives.
Essential Skills
-
2+ years of face-to-face customer service experience, preferably in the retail or restaurant industry.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively via email, telephone, and in person.

Willingness to perform data entry tasks by recording customer information into the customer service database.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email.

Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies.

Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns.
Work Environment
The candidate will work at the dealership in Northeast Philadelphia, provided with their own cubicle complete with phone and computer setup. They will be part of a team consisting of about five other sales representatives and sales managers. The dress code is business casual. The work schedule includes every Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and varied weekday shifts with one weekday off, coordinated with the manager. Sundays are off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
