Sales specialist

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and creative Sales Specialist to join our team here at Emily Chelsea Jewelry. Our ideal Sales Specialist is someone who is passionate about storytelling, connecting with people, and helping customers find pieces that mark meaningful moments. As a Sales Specialist, you’ll create welcoming, affirming experiences in our showroom, guide clients through our collections and custom design process, and support day-to-day operations that keep our store running smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers on in house jewelry purchases, custom designs and new inquiries, while maintaining a successful closing rate.
• Educate customers by providing information on store products and services.
• Maintain correspondence with customers with regular follow up.
• Fulfill orders, including preparing and packaging customer materials.
• Meet and track both personal sales goals as well as goals for the Sales Department.
• Perform store set up and closing operations, including opening and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from store safe and display areas.
• Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep store clean, safe and inviting.
• Receive packages according to our standard operating procedure.

Requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience in retail is required (jewelry or luxury preferred)
• Proven track record of achieving sales results
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be an active listener to meet the needs of our clients
• Quick response time and follow up
• Shares company values and supports LGBTQ+ equal rights, marriage equality, ethical practices, sustainability
• Team player mentality is a must as we all work together to accomplish business goals
• Strong communication skills
• Self starter, highly motivated individual who can work independently as well as with a team
• GG or other GIA educational programs preferred

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30-5:30
Thursday: 10:30-7:30
Saturday: 9:30-6:30
