Sr. Specialist - Data Engineering - Intelligence Platform

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models ensuring quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, supporting regulatory reporting, customer analytics, and research initiatives.
- Partner with engineering and analytics teams across the organization to deliver scalable data solutions and platform requirements.
- Develop advanced analytics capabilities across financial assets and markets, leveraging deep domain expertise.
- Document data models, ETL processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong proficiency with dbt and Apache Spark for data transformation and processing.
- Advanced programming skills in Python with experience building production-grade data systems.
- Proven data modeling expertise including data vault, dimensional modeling, and warehouse design.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses and columnar databases such as Redshift or Databricks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across global, matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, and RDS.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Exposure to data governance platforms like Monte Carlo or Atlan.
- Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Kafka, Delta Lake, or Iceberg.
- Experience working with trading data or systems such as Calypso.
This position will be located in Philidelpha, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
