Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary:

Actalent is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the Pottstown, PA area. Qualified candidates will have experience with industrial maintenance, preventative maintenance, and maintenance supervisory skills. Candidates will also lead a team of technicians in maintaining and improving facility operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for keeping systems running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective tasks.

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance staff to ensure high performance and safety compliance.

• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

• Manage work orders, prioritize repairs, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate procurement as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance supervision experience

• Experience with confined space and lockout/tagout procedures

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• BS Degree and 5 years of plant process experience

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, safety

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
