Detail/Weeding Team Leader
Join a dedicated and passionate landscaping team as a Detail/Weeding Team Leader in Gibsonia, PA. This full-time, in-person role is vital to maintaining the beauty and health of outdoor spaces for our clients. As a team leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that gardens and landscaped areas are free of weeds and debris, contributing to the overall quality and appearance of our projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the manual removal of weeds from garden beds, mulch areas, sidewalks, and other landscaped spaces.
- Maintain clean, well-groomed areas by trimming, deadheading flowers, and ensuring crisp edges throughout the property.
- Assist with spreading mulch, compost, and soil amendments to promote plant health and suppress weed growth.
- Monitor plant health by identifying and reporting signs of disease, pest infestations, or poor soil conditions to supervisors.
- Utilize hand tools such as weeders, trowels, pruners, and rakes to achieve high-quality landscaping results.
- Remove and properly dispose of weeds, leaves, and other organic debris to maintain a tidy environment.
- Support the landscaping crew with additional tasks such as planting, watering, and light pruning as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to reliably commute to Gibsonia, PA 15044
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of landscape care
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Experience with hand tools commonly used in landscaping is a plus
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
