Commercial Construction Estimator

We’re partnering with a well-established General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support a strong pipeline of high-profile commercial and technical projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who thrives on diverse projects and wants exposure to sectors like pharma, laboratory, data centers, healthcare, academia and commercial construction.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Develop conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving strategies
• Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction teams, and ownership
• Support bid leveling, scope reviews, and proposal development

Qualifications:

• ~Five (5+) years of experience in commercial construction estimating
• Experience with pharma, lab, data center, healthcare, or similar projects a plus
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Experience with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
