Position Purpose:

This position offers direct assistance to the Director of Clients Services and the Client Care Team.

This position will assist in all aspects of tenant management for a portfolio of properties, including

maintenance-work order management, tenant relations & communications, collections efforts,

resolution of tenant concerns and owner communications. The ideal candidate will excel in managing

individual investment properties and fostering strong relationships with landlords/property owners.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Oversee day-to-day operations of scattered-site, single-family rental properties;

● Assist with the Client Care Team to ensure all properties in your portfolio are in compliance

with all applicable codes, laws and regulations & stay up-to-date with local landlord-tenant

laws, codes and regulations;

● Communicate effectively with individual landlords regarding property conditions, repairs, and

maintenance;

● Manage tenant relations, including screening, lease agreements, rent collection, and

addressing concerns;

● Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely completion with

the assistance of the Maintenance Team;

● Coordinate with clients and tenants to schedule property inspections;

● Conduct regular property inspections to maintain optimal condition and value;

● Handle financial aspects, including rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting to

landlords;

● Coordinate with legal representatives for eviction procedures when necessary;

● Coordinate with team Project Managers to implement post move-out inspections, tenant

disposition letters and the proper return of security deposits;

● Assist in the communications and coordination of new leases and lease renewals;

● Must stay up-to-date on all landlord-tenant laws and all laws, codes and regulations as they

relate to property management/ rental properties;

● Participate in the development of goals and objectives, make recommendations for changes

and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the

implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as they relate to maintenance and work

orders;

● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Client Services and company

leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

● Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management or a

related field;

● 1-3 years’ work experience in property management or a related field.

SKILLS REQUIRED

● Proven experience in property management, preferably with single-family homes

● Strong customer service skills with a focus on landlord satisfaction

● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

● Proficiency in property management software and financial reporting

● Knowledge of local real estate market trends and landlord-tenant laws

● Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively

● Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently

● Computer proficient with knowledge of GSuite, Trello and Appfolio
