Pharmacy Outreach Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking Pharmacy Outreach Specialists for a remote healthcare services opportunity supporting patient engagement and medication adherence programs. This temporary contract role is a great fit for candidates with healthcare, pharmacy, patient support, customer service, or call center experience who enjoy helping patients, making outbound calls, and contributing to better health outcomes. As a Pharmacy Outreach Specialist, you will work in a structured, team-oriented environment with clear expectations, consistent weekday hours, and meaningful patient-focused work. This role offers supportive processes, defined workflows, and the opportunity to strengthen your healthcare communication skills while working remotely as part of a large outreach team. Key Responsibilities - Place outbound calls to patients to encourage medication adherence and continued engagement in care.- Identify barriers to care, including access concerns, medication understanding, cost challenges, or other issues that may affect adherence.
- Use professional, empathetic communication to support positive patient behavior and program goals.
- Accurately document outreach activity, call outcomes, and patient interactions according to established processes.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and call completion expectations in a remote work environment.
- Follow scripts, workflows, compliance guidelines, and patient communication standards. Compensation and Benefits - Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Breaks: 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.
- Work arrangement: Remote.
- Role type: Temporary contract role.
- Start date: 8/17/2026.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Conduct outbound patient outreach calls focused on medication adherence.- Identify barriers to care and communicate appropriate next steps.
- Support patient behavior change through clear, professional, and empathetic communication.
- Meet daily call productivity and documentation expectations. - 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred in healthcare, pharmacy, patient services, customer service, or call center support.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Ability to discuss medication adherence and healthcare-related topics in a professional and patient-friendly manner.
- Comfortable working in a remote, productivity-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document call outcomes accurately.
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow established scripts, workflows, and compliance guidelines. Preferred Qualifications - Previous pharmacy, healthcare outreach, care coordination, or patient engagement experience.
- Experience making outbound calls in a high-volume call center environment.
- Familiarity with medication adherence programs or patient support initiatives.
- Ability to stay positive, focused, and professional while handling repetitive outreach calls.
