Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled mid- to upper-level CNC Machinist with strong experience in CNC lathes and mill-turn machines for a fast-paced job shop environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently setting up, programming, and running complex parts while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, and operate CNC lathes and mill-turn machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Perform machine setups including tooling, fixturing, offsets, and work holding
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality specifications
• Work efficiently in a job shop environment with frequent changeovers and short runs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other machinists as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (lathe and mill-turn)
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters
• Proven ability to independently complete setups and complex jobs
• Experience working in a job shop environment
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and work with a variety of materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work overtime when required

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with multi-axis mill-turn machines
• Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing standards
