Structural Engineer (2–5 Years Experience)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer (2–5 years experience) to join our client's growing team supporting commercial building projects throughout the Philadelphia region. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of developments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible hybrid work environment.

• Perform structural analysis and design for commercial building projects, including steel, concrete, and masonry systems
• Develop calculations, specifications, and construction documents in coordination with architects and MEP teams
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and standards
• Assist with preparation of engineering reports and technical documentation
• Support project coordination through all phases (concept design through construction administration)
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and assist with field inspections as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project scope, budget, and schedule

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in structural design, preferably on commercial or mixed-use projects
• EIT certification required or in progress (PE track strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)
• Working knowledge of IBC and relevant design codes (ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Self-starter who can manage tasks independently in a hybrid environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $62.50/hr.
