About the Role
A well-established, high-volume tavern-style kitchen in a landmark public market is hiring a Food Runner/K itchen Assistant .
This is a steady daytime role in a busy market kitchen serving breakfast and short-order favorites, including cheesesteaks, burgers, eggs, and fried specialties.
Compensation & Benefits
Average total earnings: $15–$20 per hour (base + pooled tips)
Estimated weekly earnings: $450–$700 based on 30–35 hours

Base pay is $10/hr plus consistent pooled tips.

What You’ll Do
Run food efficiently from kitchen to service counter
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Support a respectful, team-oriented BOH environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous Food Runner or BOH kitchen experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended shifts
Food safety knowledge (ServSafe preferred)
Fast, organized, and calm under pressure
Reliable and professional
