Consultant (Multiple Openings), IQVIA Inc., Wayne, PA. May telecommute (for a limited time and with manager approval) within commuting distance of the Wayne, PA worksite to be able to attend meetings, meetings with clients, or work onsite when needed, often on very short notice. Participate in or lead teams in the design, development and delivery of consulting, analytics, business operations projects or components of larger, complex projects. Provide direction and guidance to Analysts, and where relevant, collaborate with Statistical Services assigned to engagement. Demonstrate the analytical skills and knowledge to effectively solve business operations problems using hands on experience with analytical tools (Alteryx/Python/R/SQL/Excel and VBA etc.) and pharmaceutical datasets (LAAD, DDDMD, OneKey, Xponent PlanTrak, NPA, NSP etc.). Review and analyze client requirements or problems and assist in the development of cost-effective solutions proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction. Perform quantitative, statistical analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and development of client specific solutions. Recommend improvements and alternatives to resolve problems. Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations appropriate to audience's characteristics or needs. Deliver project findings to clients. Provide follow-up with client after completing project deliverable to ensure satisfaction. Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies, pharmaceutical data sources, and the life sciences market, including through participation in training opportunities. Begin to develop Center of Excellence specific subject matter expertise. Assist Senior team members by proactively managing project timelines and day-to-day communication with client and team members. Stay aware of client situations / dynamics leading to new projects, communicate to leadership as appropriate, and build strong client relationships. Help identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client. Work M -- F, 8am -- 5pm EST, with occasional overtime and weekend work needed to meet client deadlines. Occasionally required to meet with the IQVIA India team for 1-2 hours in the evening EST to connect and coordinate with offshore team, depending on their availability. Salary Range: $133,712 - $170,000/year.

Requires a master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analytics and Project Management, Mathematics, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires with master's one (1) year, with bachelor's three (3) years of management consulting experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry to include (if master's 1 year, if bachelor's 3 years) with the following: utilizing data processing tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, or SAS; leading project teams, mentoring analysts; utilizing subject matter expertise for projects like Long Range Forecasting, Short Range Forecasting, Claims Analytics, Market Assessments, Predictive Modeling for look-alike patients, Patient Journey, HCP & Account Segmentation, Sales Force Structure & Sizing, Territory Alignment Design and Launch & Product Performance Tracker Design & Maintenance; working with syndicated pharmaceutical data sources such as longitudinal patient data, healthcare plan and payer data, national or subnational prescription and sales data, and market access data; managing multiple projects, juggling priorities and delivering on tight deadlines; developing collaborative relationships with senior level managers and directors at clients in the life science industry; and utilizing knowledge of key issues and ongoing developments in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry to establish credibility with clients.
