Sr. Network Engineer (MUST LIVE LOCAL TO PHILLY)

Sr. Network Engineer (GC HOLDERS AND CITIZENS ONLY)
My client has a full time opening for a Sr. Network Engineer. This position is on site to start and offers 2 days WFH after a few months of employment.
- Core Focus: Design, implement, maintain, and secure on-premise network infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead network projects and deployments.
- Manage Cisco (ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, Firewalls) and Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Ensure network security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues (Tier 3 support).
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
- Perform proactive maintenance and lifecycle management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (onsite once per month).
- Occasional travel to branch locations.
- Required Skills:
- 7+ years of Cisco network experience.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, IPsec, VPN, 802.1x, and other networking protocols.
- Proficiency with network tools (Cisco DNA, DCNM/NDFC, etc.).
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
