LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (GENERAL LIABILITY)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms ® , is seeking a highly-motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia . This role provides an exciting opportunity to handle sophisticated defense matters involving mass torts, class actions, and professional liability defense.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .

• Active Bar Admission in Pennsylvania .

• 2+ years of substantive experience in commercial litigation and/or general liability litigation .

• Experience with mass torts , class actions , and/or professional liability defense (skilled care facilities, hotels/motels, lawyers, architects and engineers, sports teams) is a plus .

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to draft and argue motions, handle discovery, and take/defend depositions.

• Experience in state and federal courts preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial and general liability litigation matters.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight.

• Conduct depositions, develop litigation strategy, and assist in trial preparation.

• Manage discovery, including document production and review.

• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy.
