We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices within our pediatric dental practice in Narberth, PA. We are a quickly growing pediatric dentistry office, where we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care for children and their parents in a relaxed, safe environment. Our ideal candidate is empathetic, friendly and detail oriented, comfortable treating young children and teens, and has excellent communication skills. You are the first impression of our team! We are looking for a hygienist with at least 1 year of experience, but recent grads are encouraged to apply, and you will be trained on site.

About us:
We are a brand new, state of the art dental practice that cares for and treats pediatric patients from young children throughout their teenage years. We proudly serve the communities of Narberth, Ardmore, Bala Cynwyd, Roxborough-Manayunk, Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Villanova, Wayne, Havertown, Broomall, Media, King of Prussia, and beyond! Our caring, energetic team provides a relaxing, enjoyable, and safe environment for children in our beautiful, state-of-the-art pediatric dental clinic. At each visit, we take the time with our patients, answer all their questions, and work with them on promoting a lifelong healthy smile.

Duties:
-Pediatric Dental Hygienist responsibilities
-Taking dental x-rays as needed
-Bringing patients from waiting room, giving a short tour and starting their cleaning
-Dental cleanings for children up to age 20
-Maintain a clean, organized work environment, clean own chair after patients seen
-Helping sterilize instruments when needed
-Helping with end of day tasks such as emptying trash and cleaning
-Documentation- timely and accurate


Requirements:
-1-year dental hygiene experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply and will be trained on site
-Dental Hygienist License in PA
-Local anesthesia license (preferred, not required)
-CPR Certification
-Prior knowledge of Dentrix software a plus, but not required as we will provide training

Schedule:
-Monday/Weds/Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
-Part time to start, transitioning to full time shortly

Compensation:
-$36 to $40 per hour (depending on experience)
