Assistant Stylist / Junior Stylist — Styled By A Goddess

Styled By A Goddess is growing — and we’re looking for a dependable, passionate, and motivated stylist who’s ready to learn, grow, and eventually step into a full-time role.

What You'll Do

• Assist with client services including shampooing, blow-drying, silk presses, and basic styling
• Shadow and assist with microlinks and protective styling (training provided)
• Prep and maintain tools, sanitation, and station cleanliness
• Greet clients and support front desk duties (check-in, booking, light admin)
• Support salon flow & create an elevated, welcoming guest experience
• Learn salon systems and best-in-class service standards
• Participate in content creation when needed (behind-the-scenes, styling prep, client photos/videos)
• Recommend salon products and educate clients on hair care routines

Who You Are

• Reliable, punctual, and hungry to grow in the beauty industry
• Positive energy, professional, and customer-focused
• Cosmetology student, newly licensed, or re-entering the industry
• Familiar with natural hair care & extensions OR eager to learn
• Great communication skills & a strong desire to build client relationships
• Ready to work in a fast-paced luxury salon environment

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with microlinks, extensions, silk presses or protective styling
• Retail or customer service experience
• Social media/content interest or experience
