Process Technician III - 8a-4:30p - OPS

As a key member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for the  setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of both  plastic extrusion lines and  offline thermoforming equipment used in the production of industry-leading food and beverage packaging. Your Role at Dart As a key member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for the  setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of  plastic extrusion machinery used in the manufacturing of high-quality food and beverage packaging products. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Setting up and operating extrusion and thermoforming machinery Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and instrumentation issues Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs Monitoring equipment performance and collecting operational data Collaborating with engineers to improve cycle times, yields, and product quality Leading or assisting in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Mentoring junior technicians and sharing technical expertise What You Bring to the Table We’re looking for someone with: Associate’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing processes  and 3+ years of experience,  or High school diploma/GED with 5+ years of hands-on experience in plastic extrusion or similar manufacturing environments Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools Experience troubleshooting and maintaining extrusion lines or similar production equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Familiarity with quality and process improvement tools (SPC, 5S, FMEA, etc.) Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Dart?
