Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural metal products including machinery frames, tanks, and components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This role requires interpreting blueprints, operating various fabricating machines, and maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Shift and Pay

First Shift

$25-$29/hr

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural metal products.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints accurately to guide fabrication processes.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, welders, and drill presses.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Experience in fabrication and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
• Strong math skills including geometry and algebra.
• Skillful use of precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $60320.00/yr.
