Cobol Specialist
Kforce has a client in Pittsburgh, PA seeking a Cobol Specialist on a contract only basis. Summary: The Cobol Specialist will be tasked with assisting with different organization portfolios and additional production support. The Cobol Specialist will also be tasked with assisting with the organization moving from legacy systems to newer systems, as well as discussing requirements, exploring new business solutions, and conducting batch processing and scheduling.
- 5+ years of Cobol support experience
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to problem solve and multi-task
- Must have experience with batch processing and scheduling
- Prior knowledge with mainframe systems is a plus
- Experience with Shadowbase is a very nice to have
